Meet the President
As President of the Alpha Alpha Theta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated, I extend a warm welcome on behalf of my fellow brothers. We are steadfast in our mission to enhance the Pensacola community and other areas in Escambia County, a commitment we have upheld since our establishment in 1993. The founding principles of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated, Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service, are not just words to us, but the very essence of our actions. They guide us, inspire us, and drive us to make a difference. Therefore, the brothers of Alpha Alpha Theta Sigma hold ourselves to the highest standards as we strive to meet the needs of our local and surrounding communities.
This year, Alpha Alpha Theta Sigma will embark on several impactful initiatives. One of our most significant endeavors will be to recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements and community service of individuals within our community through our prestigious annual Sigma Awards Gala. We will also champion causes that are close to our hearts, such as The March of Dimes March for Babies, Relay for Life, American Cancer Society, and the Breast Cancer walk. We will continue to support our international programs, such as Bigger and Better Business, Social Action, Education, and the Sigma Beta Club.
As we continue to find ways to connect with and support our local community and reach our most precious resource, our youth, I am always mindful of our Fraternity’s motto: “Culture for Service and Service for Humanity.” Therefore, I challenge each Brother and community member to strive to improve our relationships, improve the human condition in our community, honor our commitment to service, and remember those who served before us and their contributions to our organization, families, and communities. We also ask for continued support for our service, social, and charitable endeavors throughout the year.

Who We Are
Social Action
The Social Action program’s focus is to improve the general wellbeing of disenfranchised people by encouraging social, political, and philanthropic leadership, which strengthens our respective communities.
Mentorship
Sigma Beta Club is Phi Beta Sigma’s youth mentoring program. It was founded to address youth-related concerns in our communities and recognizes the important role that Sigma men can play in the lives of our male youth.
Scholarships
The Education program developed from the Fraternity’s traditional emphasis on academic achievement as an ingredient for success. We make it a point to pay it forward with our various scholarship opportunities.
Bigger and Better Business
To strengthen the family unit and bring about change in our communities. To help the brothers, their families, and the community invest in oneself so that we break the curses of generational wealth, entrepreneurship, and frivolous spending.
To enlist a team of professionals in areas of Tax Assistance, Credit Restoration, Home Ownership, Wealth Building, Small Business Development, and support the Phi Beta Sigma Federal Credit Union; and to continue and support the visions and initiatives of our International Director and Southern Regional Director of Bigger and Better Business.

Sigma Beta Club
In the early 1950s, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity became the first Greek organization to develop a youth auxiliary group. Under the direction of Dr. Parlett L. Moore (pictured) the Sigma Beta Club was founded. While as National Director of Education, Brother Moore was concerned about our changing needs in our communities and recognized the important role that Sigma men could play in the lives of our youth.
